Meaning of Liberals

Recently, I have become fascinated with the many ways in which racism is being used in our society today. No, not the actual instances of racism, but rather how the word or accusation of racism is thrown around by our politicians. Also, it seems as if it is mostly used by the liberals.

Originally, racism was used by politicians to mean that same thing as its literal definition: hating someone because of their race. But that has all changed; at least 95 percent of the time racism is now used to mean something else. Sadly, this is now often used to curry political gain or favor, or to make someone else back off.

Given all of that, I have prepared a handy guide so that you can understand the top-secret liberal code whenever the next silly politician uses the cry or charge of racism. Simply refer to this and more than likely, there really meaning will become clear.

#1…You disagree with me, the Democratic party, or liberalism in general. This one works even better when the liberal leveling the charge is black himself or herself. They can also use it to apply to anyone different than themselves, as in “Sarah Palin is racist…the Tea Party is racist, ” or whomever. Of course, the media goes along with this. They simply assume that because they are liberal Democrats, they get a free pass…and cannot be considered racist themselves by virtue of their party affiliation. Plus, everyone just ‘knows’ that those nasty conservatives are racists.

#2…Let’s give a bad deal to black Americans. The groups that advocate on behalf of black Americans in Congress, especially the liberal Congressional Black Caucus, has done next to nothing of value for the people they proclaim (and loudly) to represent. Yet, this group is also one of the most partisan and fiercely loyal to the Democratic party. They have convinced black Americans that the Republicans and conservatives hate them, primarily through falsely leveling the charge of racism, leading to the Democrats getting nearly 90 percent of the black vote year after year. Sad.

#3…Your charges are actually hurting us. Whenever something that is done against the liberals actually starts having an effect, you will invariably hear the charge of racism leveled. They simply are using this as a way to try and shut their opposition down, hoping that they will fear the public considering them to be actual racists. Of course, this works better on some things than others. But, this is very liberally applied, pun intended. Heck, it was even used to claim that the GOP was using the IRS scandal as a weapon in the war against ‘black people.’ Crazy.

#4…Stop trying to reach black Americans! This is probably the most evil and insidious of all meanings. What the Democrats are trying to do with this is assert that they ‘own’ black America. This is also the underlying reason why they have such intense hatred for black Republicans who don’t buy into their bunch of lies and white Republicans who advocate reaching out to black America. Any black Republican who insists that black Americans are not helpless victims and should stop waiting around for the crumbs to fall from the Democratic table will be racially attacked and insulted.
