Carson_crossfireFormer Ohio Gov. Ted Strickland, a Democrat, went after Dr. Ben Carson on CNN’s “Crossfire” Wednesday, criticizing his use of a Nazi reference to highlight the dangers of “going along to get along” when you see the country heading in the wrong direction.

After Carson explained what he actually meant with his analogy, Strickland brought up the retired neurosurgeon’s book, “America the Beautiful, ” in an attempt to frame his views as contradictory.

That’s when Carson called him out.

“Well, did you read the book?” he asked.

“I have not read the book, no, ” Strickland replied.

“I rest my case, ” Carson joked. “You don’t even know what the book is about. … You’re making these claims and using the fact that I write a book to back up your claims, and you haven’t even read the book.”

Strickland explained that he was merely citing the title of his book, which is a “beautiful phrase.”

“Did you ever hear the phrase that you can’t judge a book by its cover?” Carson shot back. “Do you know why people say that? Because you need to read the book.”

The former Democrat Governor, Ted Strickland, was forced to admit he hadn’t read Carson’s book, as he condemned it and attempted to state what it contained. Dr. Carson, as usual, spoke well to expose the facts. The arrogant Strickland hadn’t bothered to read a word, but simply made judgments on the title a few things he was ‘told’ were in in. Not much critical thinking involved with Liberalism…. now we can get some confirmation of that from former Mayor Bloomberg. ( here)

Dr. Carson was correct in his analogy and assertions — way too many self involved Americans, pay no attention as their lives, and therefore ours, are corrupted, stolen and destroyed by greedy, power hunger, Constitution ignoring politicians in local, state and federal government. It’s happened in all great countries from the Roman Empire, Great Britain and now our America.

Just as Barack Hussein Obama and his regime’s most dastardly deeds, are accomplished and hidden behind closed doors, as Obama touts and spouts foolishness about football, none of which is his business. But it takes the talking points off Benghazi, Fast and Furious, “obamacare” and the corrupt IRS, among other lawless, unconstitutional activities going on in the White House.
